Heartworm Treatment
north Houston shelter with heartworms. He's
longing for a forever home, but before we can
find him a home, he has to be treated with
immiticide and kept quite for 4-6 weeks.
Heartworm disease is totally preventable with a
small pill each month, but because this pups
owner didn't care, we have to inject poison
into him to kill these worms.
The treatment is risky - but he cannot find a
home without it.
